A new, one-day “festival of independent culture” celebrating comic books, zines, art and music is coming to Minneapolis in August.

Minneapolis cartoonist Tom Kaczynski announced the Autoptic festival this week in a brief post on the Tumblr page for his publishing imprint, Uncivilized Books. The post included no information on the location of the Aug. 18 festival, but Kaczynski, reached by e-mail, said to expect more details in about two weeks.
