Park Board hosting skate park discussions

As suburbs both east and west of Minneapolis complete construction of new or updated skate parks this summer, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is currently developing an activity plan for skate parks and has announced two public skate park meetings.

The Park Board runs six city skate parks, including a 6,000 square foot installation at Northeast’s Bottineau Park, 2000 2nd St. N.E., which opened in 2006. It would be an item of discussion at the meetings.
