Another apartment tower planned for downtown

Mortenson Construction is planning a 30-story apartment tower in the heart of downtown near the Hiawatha LRT line.
The 260-unit tower has been proposed for 400 Marquette Ave. S. — a parcel formerly home to a parking lot. It would be built near the Nic on Fifth project — a 26-story apartment tower Opus Development Corp. is building at 5th & Nicollet.
