New Mississippi Minute Film Festival asks for 60-second films about the riverfront

The Minneapolis Riverfront Partnership (MRP) is hosting a new film festival featuring 60-second videos about the Mississippi River.

Minute-long submissions for the Mississippi Minute Film Festival will be accepted through the MRP website for the entire month of August. A panel of judges – including members of The Film Society of Minneapolis-St. Paul and The Journal Editor Sarah McKenzie – will choose about 30 of the best films for a special screening in the Mill City Museum October 20. The show begins at 6:30 p.m.
