Elliot Park denies tailgating expansion

The Vikings have had little luck so far in the search to find space for its estimated 10,000 tailgating fans when the new stadium opens.

Three of the largest lots tailgaters used before games at the Metrodome are being redeveloped into two Wells Fargo office towers and a giant parking ramp, leaving the team without 822 spaces that used to be filled with grilling, drinking and other pregame revelry.
