The Mississippi Minute Film festival has returned for its second year and is currently accepting submissions.

Organized by the Minneapolis Riverfront Partnership (MRP), the festival is intended to visually capture an appreciation, and the future potential, of the Mississippi.

“We thought that (the film festival) would be a different way to engage people with the river,” Kathleen Boe, executive director of MRP, explained.
