Hennepin County to take part in federal count of homeless youth

Hennepin County has been selected along with eight other places in the country to take part in a federal count of homeless youth, county officials announced today.
"We were chosen because we have been known historically to have a strong count here and a very strong system o fyouth providers and engagement on homeless youth," said Cathy ten broeke, former director of the Minneapolis/Hennepin County Office to End Homelessness who now leads efforts to end homelessness for the state of Minnesota.
