On Thursday, Nov. 28, approximately 7,000 runners, walkers and wheelers will take part in the Northwest Athletic Club Arena5k 2002 Thanksgiving Day Run.
The Northwest Athletic Club, 6001st Ave. N., will donate a portion of all entry fees and all non-perishable foods donated at Northwest Athletic club locations or the Target Center, 600 1st Ave. N. to Second Harvest Heartland.
The course starts near Northwest Athletic Club/Target Center, runs through Downtown, along Mississippi River Road, and back through the Warehouse District to the Target Center.
The race begins at 8:25 a.m. for wheelers and those pushing strollers and at 8:30 a.m. for those walking or running.

Race-day registration is also available at the Target Center from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Through Tuesday, Nov. 26, the registration fee is $15. On race day, the registration fee is $20.
