On Friday, Oct. 25, Minneapolis City Hall, 350 S. 5th St., will be the spookiest place in town. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., City Hall will be host to the 4th annual Halloween Spooktacular.

Guides will take visitors of a scary and informative tour of City Hall, where they'll meet ghosts and goblins, enjoy magic shows and carnival games and visit personalities from the past.

Visitors can have pictures taken, faces painted, meet with staff of the city's canine and horse patrols and enter a costume contest judged by Mayor R.T. Rybak.

Refreshments will be served, and this event is free and open to the public.

Spooktacular is sponsored by the Municipal Building Commission, which oversees and maintains City Hall facilities. For more information, call the MBC at 673-5301 or visit http://www.municipalbuildingcommission.org.
