Shoppers at Downtown's Gaviidae Common, 651 Nicollet Mall, and City Center, 615 Hennepin Ave., can help students in need Wednesday July 31-Aug. 12 through the Caring Tree program.

Shoppers can adopt a student in need by visiting the Caring Tree and selecting a card that identifies a child's age, sex, grade level and that child's specific shopping list. Shoppers do not need to purchase all items listed on the card. They must, however, return the card along with the child's gifts to the same shopping-center site from which it was obtained. Social service agencies will anonymously deliver the merchandise to the students.

For additional details visit or call The Caring Tree Hotline at 952-881-3055.
