The Center for Neighborhoods' eighth annual State of the Neighborhoods Address will focus on what can be done to strengthen citizen participation in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
The event is Thursday, July 17, at the St. Anthony Main Event Centre, 219 S.E. Main St., 5:30-7:30 p.m. Mayor R.T. Rybak will give opening remarks ,and Center Director Gretchen Nicholls will give the address. A series of workshops follow to create a citizen-participation compact for each city.
