One-of-a-kind gifts for the home and holidays will be available at the Melting Pot Marketplace Holiday Show, Friday-Sunday, Nov. 12-14.

Over 20 local artists created the sale's unique products, fibers and foods. Featured items include handcrafted soaps and bath gels, hand-woven rugs, hand-knit items and jewelry.

The sale will be held at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 101 E. Grant St. (next to the Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Ave. S.).

There is no entry fee and 5 percent of proceeds go to Wesley's community programs, including Saturday Meals, which serves over 6,000 meals to homeless and underprivileged people each year. Last year's Melting Pot event raised almost $1,000 for this cause.

Wesley members will also offer free tours of their historic building, and organ concerts will serenade shoppers.
