A North Loop neighborhood party devoted to music, chicken wings, cheese curds and other fried offerings will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Rapid Park lot behind the Target Center, 600 1st Ave. N.
Several area restaurants and bars will have food stands at the Wing Fling, including J.J.'s Dry Dock Caf/, 401 N. 3rd St. and Sapor Caf/ and Bar, 428 Washington Ave. N.
Other Twin Cities restaurants represented include Bennigan's Grill & Tavern, Big Ten Restaurant and Bar, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jamacia Island Cuisine, Tonic, Nardies Caf/ and the Park Tavern.
Musician Corey Stevens will also perform.
The festival starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Admission is free.
