Photographer Rich Ryan and reporter Sarah McKenzie stopped to chat with Victoria Olender of Excelsior recently. Olender works as a yoga and dance teacher at Zenon Dance Company and School, 528 Hennepin Ave. S.
"I study health a lot and well-being. I was just at Starbucks to get some quarters for my meter because I have to finish this ballet class. I usually ask for organic milk because the hormones and the steroids and the chemicals they put in milk are really bad for you. Starbucks always has organic milk. Well, I go there, and they're out of it. So they gave me a coupon and I'm going to the Starbucks over there [pointing to the City Center]. I was just thinking about how the world could be more organic."
