At its April 19 meeting, the Minneapolis Planning Commission passed a series of approvals for the 918 Lofts, 918 N. 3rd St. in the North Loop neighborhood. Apurva Patel plans on converting a former brush manufacturing building to 30 for-sale housing units.
Discussion focused on making sure the new residents have sufficient noise insulation
from neighboring industrial uses. Among the new requirements, the Commission said
the developer had to mitigate sound by at
least 36 decibels.
