The international honor society Phi Theta Kappa will hold its 86th annual international convention, "Ignite the Fire Within," Wednesday, March 31 to Saturday, April 3 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
More than 4,000 are expected to attend.
Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society for American students in higher education, according to its Web site. It boasts more than 1.5 million members in 1,200 chapters in the United States, Canada and Germany.
The honor society started in Columbia, Mo., in 1910.
The convention will feature educational forums, a political rally, awards banquet and a dance.
