OccupyMN protester taken in for hypothermia, two others caught having sex on plaza

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office today released a summary of events that have taken place on Government Plaza in Downtown Minneapolis over the past week.

The list of incidents includes medical calls, trespassing violations and damage to property.

According to a Sheriff’s Office news release:

A demonstrator today was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center for possible hypothermia after another demonstrator called for medical attention. The man has since been released from the hospital.

On Nov. 18, Hennepin County Security issued trespassing notices to two people caught having sex on the plaza.

Hennepin County also reported that since the occupation began on Oct. 7, officers have arrested three demonstrators for trespassing. They’ve also given out 14 trespassing notices and reported two incidents of damage to property.
