There will be a free outdoor yoga session midday Thursday on the green roof that covers Marquette Plaza's parking ramp.
The Yoga in the Park event, planned for 12:05–1:05 p.m., is in celebration of the Aquatennial and Marquette Plaza's recent Platinum-level LEED certification. The building at 250 Marquette Ave. is the first large multi-tenant office building in the state to meet that standard in green building design.
This event is the second Aquatennial yoga session. Organizers kicked off the 10-day civic celebration with an early morning yoga class on Nicollet Mall on July 15.
