Those who would like to see the city in a different way will have an entertaining option tomorrow night: a moonlight in-line skate tour. The “Friday Night Full Moon Skate” kicks off tomorrow in Hopkins and heads into Minneapolis.

The tour departs from The Depot Coffee House at 9451 Excelsior Boulevard in Hopkins at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, and will take participants into Downtown Minneapolis and around Lake Calhoun and Lake of The Isles. The tour will be divided into three different lengths for skaters of various skill levels: six miles, 11 miles and 15 miles. The evening ends back at The Depot Coffee House for live music and socializing. All skaters are asked to wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear.
