At least two dozen performers are expected to take the stage Tuesday at the Dakota Jazz Club for a North Minneapolis tornado relief benefit concert.

Debbie Duncan, Patty Peterson, Ginger Commodore, Kathleen Johnson and Mayda are among the locals planning to join the benefit for the Minneapolis Foundation North Minneapolis Recovery Fund. The May 22 tornado that cut across North Side neighborhoods caused $166 million in damages, according to initial estimates from city officials.

The benefit concert is 7 p.m.–11 p.m. at the Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant, 1010 Nicollet Ave. Suggested donation is $10.
