City crews on Friday converted a portion of 2nd Avenue North Downtown to a two-way street. The affected stretch runs between 5th and 10th streets.
The added southbound lane will improve access to the area, according to a city news release, because a southbound portion of 3rd Avenue was permanently closed from construction at Target Field.
New lane lines and signals were added to the area prior to the conversion.
