Absentee voting underway for Aug. 12 primary

Absentee voting for the Aug. 12 primary started June 27.

Voters who can’t make it to the polls for the primary can vote by mail or in person at City Hall at the Minneapolis Office of Elections & Voter Services, 350 S. 5th St. Room 201.

Ballots can be requested at www.vote.minneapolis.mn.gov.

The city’s election site also has a link to view sample ballots.

The state primary includes federal, state and local races, including the Minneapolis School Board.
