MPLS/STP Clothing Co. plans move to Thorp Building

Katie Olson and Clint McMahon will be moving to their Minnesota-themed clothing company to the Thorp Building. 

The two co-owners of MPLS/STP Clothing Co. announced the move to Northeast Minneapolis in an email to customers Wednesday. The company specializes in T-shirts with local and state themes, which are designed in Minneapolis and printed in St. Paul. 

They signed a lease for a studio and retail space in the historic warehouse building in the Logan Park neighborhood, and will be moving in the next few weeks. MPLS/STP Clothing customers will be able to shop for, pick up and try on T-shirts at the new location. 

“We can’t wait to be surrounded by all the smart, creative and hard working people in [the] Northeast Minneapolis Arts District,” they said.

The Thorp Building has welcomed several new tenants this year, including Minneapolis Television Network, the Northeast Tool LibraryTattersall Distilling Co. and an expansion from Bodies by Burgoon
