Naf Naf Grill is opening a new location in U.S. Bank Plaza Thursday.

The Illinois-based Middle Eastern food chain, known as the “Chipotle of falafel,” announced in January it would be opening three stores in Minnesota, including locations in Eden Prairie and Maple Grove. Naf Naf Grill serves customizable Middle Eastern-style staples like pita sandwiches and salads.

Naf Naf Grill is open from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and is serving free sandwiches on its opening day. The first 200 Minneapolis customers will get a “Naf Naf Minnesota Tour” shirt, according to the restaurant’s Twitter account.

The U.S. Bank Plaza restaurant is located on the ground floor at 200 S. Sixth St. It also has an exterior entrance on 2nd Avenue South.
