Northeast Minneapolis yogis no longer have to wait to train their bodies.

YogaFit Studios, a 24/7 yoga concept, opened its second Minneapolis location this week in the new Red 20 apartment complex. YogaFit Studios is a franchise developed by Lift Brands, which owns SNAP Fitness and Steele Fitness.

“Our goal is to enable busy people to enjoy the amazing health benefits of yoga in the midst of their hectic schedules,” said owner Ashok Dhariwal, a former Northeast resident, in a statement. He has opened seven other locations, including one in the Linden Hills neighborhood.

YogaFit Studios hosts both instuctor-led classes and virtual classes using on-demand technology. Classes range in skill level and focus, from ballet barre to Resorative Yoga classes.

Each YogaFit location also donates a portion of class dues to charity.

The Northeast studio, located at 520 First Ave. NE., is offering an opening sale for new members.

“We’re excited to bring YogaFit to the Northeast neighborhood and give people a positive outlet for healthy lifestyles,” Dhariwal said.
