On Dec. 9 marketing agency Yamamoto moved into its new offices in the Northwestern Building at 219 N Second St.

RJM Construction, The Ackerberg Group and AWH Architects combined to renovate the former class manufacturing plant into creative offices. Yamamoto will take up 12,000 square feet on the building's second floor. It was previously headquarted at 252 First Ave. N, four blocks away from its new location.

The decision to move to the North Loop was made in part because of the neighborhood's creative reputation.

“The North Loop is full of forward-thinking, digitally innovative agencies and people,” said Yamamoto CCO Darryl Kluskowski in a press release.
