The Theater of Public Policy is hosting an improv show Wednesday, July 16 at the Southern Theater, 1420 Washington Ave. S., to give people a chance to share their love for the city as part of Mayor Betsy Hodges' "Best Week of Bragging About Minneapolis Ever."

Audience members and Hodges will be called on to boast about Minneapolis, which will be fodder for a cast of improvisers for a night of comedy theater.

The cast will ask questions like: What's the best kept secret about Minneapolis? What special things keep you here, especially after a winter like this one? When was the moment you fell in love with Minneapolis?

The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

The Mpls bragging week runs July 14–20. It includes special themes and mayoral proclamations each day and the Mayor's Bragging Challenge featuring more than 50 activities throughout the city. Individuals and teams are encouraged to participate and share photos via social media using the hashtag #bragmpls for a chance to win a lunch with Hodges.
