NORTH LOOP — Roe Wolfe, a beauty and clothing boutique originally located in Mendota Heights, moved to Minneapolis this week.

Roe Wolfe held a soft opening in its new location at 113 Washington Ave. N. this week. The shop will host a grand re-opening event June 7–9 with giveaways and discounts.

The high-end boutique offers makeup and beauty services, including makeup consultations, lessons and bridal makeup applications. Roe Wolfe also sells clothing, cosmetics, jewelry and local art.

Owner Ashley Kilcher said the move allowed the shop to expand and feature several new clothing lines.

“We really just liked the energy of the North Loop so we decided to head this way,” Kilcher said. “We also needed a bigger shop so we could kind of be more event-based and have more stuff in the shop.”

Kilcher, a seven-year veteran makeup artist, first opened Roe Wolfe in September 2011.
