Crown Hydro is hosting a public meeting to discuss its proposal to build a hydroelectric facility adjacent to St. Anthony Falls on Nov. 26, 3:30 p.m. at the Minneapolis Central Library.

The library is located at 300 Nicollet Mall and the meeting will be held in Pohlad Hall. Information on Crown Hydro's proposal is available at, where interested parties can also submit comments on the project until Dec. 31.

Crown is asking the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to ammend its license so it can move the project 150 feet north onto US Army Corps of Engineers land. Previously the proposal was partially on Park Board land, and the Park Board remains staunchly opposed to Crown's proposal.
