Police issue crime alert for stolen cars in NE

The Minneapolis Police Department's 2nd Precinct has issued a crime alert about a spike in stolen vehicles in Northeast.

There have been 21 auto thefts since the beginning of the year. Seven of the cars had keys inside with the car running when they were stolen, according to police. 

Police have no suspects in the thefts.
