A restaurant named Socialista will open soon next to Borough and Parlour in the North Loop on Washington Avenue.
Details on the new restaurant are hard to find, but according to the January North Loop Neighborhood Association Planning and Zoning Committee meeting minutes the restaurant will focus on fine dining and have approximately 225 seats split over two levels.
Fernando Santa, former general manager of Spasso, a fine dining restaurant in Minnetonka, will be running Socialista.
According to its liquor license application, Socialista will host small live bands and a DJ playing Caribbean music. It will be open for lunch and dinner.
