The Ice Chamber — a 256-square-foot ice bar constructed with 12,000 pounds of ice — is now open in the courtyard of the Le Meridien Chambers at 9th & Hennepin.
It's the eighth year the hotel has featured the ice bar during the winter season. This year, the Ice Chamber has a James Bond feel with the bar staff — clad in white winter gear — taking on the names of characters from the movie series.
The bar serves specialty Grey Goose cocktails and will be open until the warmer weather arrives, likely mid-March.
