Sevnth Sin, a Northeast-based creative design firm, closed down this week.

On Wednesday owner Jamey Erickson took down Sevnth Sin's website and replaced it with a message to the company's employees, clients and friends.

"I've always poured every ounce of my being into this, and while I've never been a stranger to tough times, this year has proven to be the most difficult of them all. That being said, I've never been more proud of the work we've done here and it breaks my heart to end this all so abruptly. We've simply just run out of time," Erickson wrote.

Sevnth Sin was founded in 2005 and specialized in mobile, digital and web design. It had recently moved into The Broadway, a mixed-use development that also houses 612Brew and Spyhouse Coffee.
