Celebrity chefs cooking and serving ballpark-inspired meals from food trucks and a hot dog cook-off have been added to the All-Star block party being held downtown next week.

The Chevy Experience Pepsi All-Star Block Party runs July 13 through July 15. It’s being held in Butler Square, the block of 6th Street in between Hennepin and 1st Avenue.

Major League Baseball has announced celebrity chefs Andrew Zimmern, from the Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods show; Nick Elmi, the winner of Top Chef Season 11; Bryan Caswell, Food & Wine’s Best New Chef winner in 2009; Graham Elliot, one of Master Chef’s judges; and Michelle Bernstein, a James Beard Foundation Award Winner will all cook in one of the block party’s food trucks.

On July 14, before the Home Run Derby, a panel of media and celebrities will be judging a creative hot dog cook-off.

The block party will also feature a pop-up Target store, a Chevy car display and a number of other corporate tents.
