Textiles and leather goods retailer relocated to North Loop

NORTH LOOP — European fabrics and textiles and locally made leather goods have made their way to North Loop at Maison Spring’s new location.

Maison Spring, a showroom of designer fabrics and collections for the home, was founded by Talin Spring six years ago. Spring relocated from International Market Square to the Foundry Building at 125 N. 1st St. in May.

“The fabrics I have are all European, all small designers quite well-known in Europe but not well known here, so they’re all unique,” Spring said. “Some of them, I’m the only one who represents them in the U.S. Some of them are in New York or L.A., but nobody anywhere in the middle [sells them].”

In addition to fabrics and home accessories, Maison Spring also sells small leather goods by Spring, Finn & Co., Spring’s own leather company that produces its handmade products in Minnesota.

The Maison Spring showroom is open to the public by appointment, and Spring also features her leather goods at the Mill City Farmer’s Market.
