Local D'Lish is now selling its own brand of sugars, spices, oils and grains packaged in reusable Weck jars.

The November launch of the local grocer's own product line comes on the heels of it opening a deli section last March.

"Some of the blends we're selling were really popular in our cooking classes," said Ann Yin, who owns Local D'Lish along with her husband, Yulin. "We really just want to fine-tune what we're selling now and look at expanding our selection after this crazy holiday season is over."

Yin said later this winter they plan to expand the deli to offer prepared food like cassaroles, hotdishes and macaroni and cheese. The deli's prepared food section would change with the seasons, and offer lighter fare when spring rolls around.

Yin also said Local D'Lish is looking into opening a second location in a different neighborhood in Minneapolis, although talks are still very preliminary.
