Tenants have starting moving into Magellan's 36-story sleek apartment tower called LPM Apartments in Loring Park.

Residents will be moving into the building in phases until Oct. 15 when all of the building's 354 units will be ready, said Kate Heitzman, property manager at LPM Apartments.

The building's sixth floor is devoted to amenities for all of the residents, including an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, grilling area, game area, workout room and other gathering spaces.

Prices range from about $1,600 a month for 674-square-foot studios to $4,852 a month for a three-bedroom/two-bathroom penthouse.

So far, 10 residents have moved in since Aug. 1 when it officially opened. Heitzman declined to say how many units have been leased to date, but said activity has "exceeded expectations."
