The last season of the Holidazzle Parade began last weekend.

The parade is scheduled to run for three more weekends. It starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, and runs down Nicollet Mall from 12th Street to 4th Street.

In October the Minneapolis Downtown Council, which sponsors the parade along with Target and several other companies, announced that the Holidazzle will not being continuing in its current form starting next year.

There will still be a holiday event sponsored by the Downtown Council in 2014, but organizers are still determining what that might be.
