Hilton Minneapolis will complete a $13.5 million upgrade of all 821 of its rooms by the end of March.
The upgrades include new 50-inch high-definition LCD televisions, a digital panel that allows guests to connect and charge several devices at once and granite countertops and back-lit mirrors in the bathrooms.
The rooms were also remodeled to project a “sophisticated urban look” with a blend of stone, polished metal and rich wood tones.
Hilton previously spent $22.8 million in upgrades in 2007. The 25-story hotel is located at 1001 Marquette Ave. S and was built in 1992.
