The Fulton Brewery is planning a new outdoor patio with landscaping provided by Tangletown Gardens.

Jim Diley of Fulton Beer said the goal is to create an "urban oasis" for the green-starved neighborhood at the North Loop Neighborhood Association's Planning and Zoning Committee last night.

The brewery plans to recycle water used to brew beer to water the plants. Hops might also be featured in the landscaping.

The patio will have a maximum capacity of 80 people. The brewery at 414 6th Ave. N. also plans to expand its bike parking to accomodate spots for 50 bikes.
