There is a free screening of "The Adventures of Huck Finn" 7 p.m. tonight at a future park site just north of the Plymouth Avenue bridge formerly home to the Scherer Bros. lumber company.

There are plans to create a new park at the site as part of the RiverFirst initiative.

On Monday, Aug. 19, there will be a screening of "Desperately Seeking Susan" starting at 7 p.m.

The movie series is sponsored by the Minneapolis Parks Foundation with support from the McKnight Foundation. It's part of the Park Board's Music & Movies in the Park program.
