NORTH LOOP — Kaskaid Hospitality, the parent company of the Crave restaurant chain and other dining concepts, is planning a new event center in the building formerly home to Trocaderos night club at 107 3rd Ave. N.

The Muse Event Center will be able to host a range of events, including weddings, corporate events and other celebrations.

It will also be home to Crave's expanding catering business, according to a news release.

“As we continue to grow CRAVE catering we’ve had continuous positive feedback from the Twin Cities market,” said Kaskaid CEO Kam Talebi. “People are excited for a fresh new catering option and are also looking for new venues to host events. Muse gives us a top notch facility with a fantastic location in the North Loop of downtown Minneapolis that will be perfect for events of all shapes and sizes.”

The Trocaderos nightclub closed in 2009.
