The Holland Neighborhood Improvement Association (HNIA) is having an all-you-can-eat soup supper fundraiser in the Edison High School cafeteria Feb. 10 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit HNIA’s Medallion Public Arts Connector, an initiative started last year to promote art and education in Northeast. People sign up (you can do so at the program’s Facebook page) to receive a medallion, which they turn in when making a purchase of at least $10 at any of the more than 30 Northeast businesses that participate in the program. Every few months businesses turn in all of the medallions collected, making a small donation for each one.

Money raised from the Medallion Public Arts Connector helped fund the Northeast Green Light Project, which opened next to the Edison High School last November.

Local chefs and surprise celebrities will be preparing and serving the soup, and afterward everyone is invited to attend the Edison girl’s basketball team play West Lutheran Academy. It’s Future Tommie night, so pregame and halftime activities are planned.

Admission costs $10 for adults, $5 for kids aged 12-17 and children under 12 are free.
