Downtown neighborhood leaders hosting Third Ward debate tomorrow night

The Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association (DMNA) is hosting a Third Ward City Council candidate forum at its annual meeting tomorrow night, 6–8 p.m., at Open Book, 1011 Washington Ave. S.

The Journal will moderate the debate. Candidates for the Third Ward City Council seat include the DFL-endorsed Jacob Frey, Green Party candidate Kristina Gronquist, incumbent City Council Member Diane Hofstede and Libertarian candidate Michael Katch.

DMNA's annual meeting will also include an update from board chair Gerry Ewald, a 7th Ward update from City Council Member Lisa Goodman, board elections and 1st Precinct crime and safety update.
