Northeast Ride set for June 22

The Northeast Ride, a bike tour through Northeast, organized by the Northeast Community Development Corporation, has been rescheduled to take place Saturday, June 22.

The ride will start at the Northeast Minneapolis Armory, 1025 Broadway St. NE, at 10 a.m. and go throughout the neighborhood, stopping at  parks and making note of historic buildings, before circling back to the Armory.

Following the ride, an afterparty will be held at Indeed Brewing Company, 711 15th Ave. NE, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Early registration is $20 and can be done online at; register in person, the day of, for $25.

Riders should bring a helmet, bike lock and photo ID as well as anything else that will make the ride more comfortable. To volunteer, check in at the web address above. The ride was originally scheduled for June 2.

The Northeast Community Development Corporation is a non-profit located at 2329 Central Ave. NE. It works towards economic and residential development in Northeast as well as offering free business planning and fundraising for other non-profits.
