The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is holding a public hearing Feb. 15 on the proposed sale of the Fuji Ya site on Downtown’s riverfront.
The parcel, owned by the Park Board, has been slated for a high-end condo project called the Wave. The site at 420 1st St. once was home to a Fuji Ya sushi restaurant.
The Park Board in December tabled a motion to finalize sale of the property to Heritage Development, a Little Canada-based developer.
Heritage has proposed a 36-unit condo project and restaurant for the site.
