Snow-related construction delays expected to melt

Construction crews working on the New Central Library are playing catch up after harsh winter conditions complicated work earlier this month, but the project's contractor Mortenson/Thor told members of the New Central Library Implementation Committee on Feb. 17 that weather delays won't impact the project's overall schedule.
The $125 million New Central Library, under construction on Nicollet Mall's north end, is scheduled to open in spring 2006.
