City has openings on boards, commissions


The City of Minneapolis is seeking applications for several open positions on city boards and commissions.

The city is hoping to attract applicants with a diverse set of backgrounds to help city leaders shape policies. The applications will be reviewed starting on Oct. 13. There are open positions on the following boards and commissions:

— Capital Long-Range Improvements Committee: Helps make recommendations to the City Council and Mayor on the five-year capital improvement program.

— Charter Commission: Reviews and formulates charter proposals.
