What's old is new: Downtown's burlesque history


A new burlesque joint is a living reminder that sensual strippers, "grotesque" singers and even a crazy dog once made Downtown a lively place

The girl with the "$100,000 legs" beckons visitors to a new burlesque nightclub in Downtown's Warehouse District.

She's known as "Minneapolis' sweetheart."

Rosy-cheeked Carrie Finnell sports black shorts, a black bra with yellow tassels and a "come-hither" expression. However, she won't be performing at Le Cirque Rouge de Gus -- the new Warehouse District song-and-dance joint featuring some scantily clad performers.
