Graphic designers holding benefit for bridge collapse victims

Twin Cities graphic designers plan to auction off 35 posters today at Spill the Wine on Washington Avenue to benefit the victims of the I-35W bridge collapse.

AIGI Minnesota has solicited posters from local designers that reflect on the Aug. 1 bridge collapse.

“We wanted to do something to help,” said AIGA Minnesota President Jim Madson, in a prepared statement. “But we didn’t want to just give money. We knew that we could have a much greater impact by using our members’ talents to say something unique about the tragedy.”
